An extensive home renovation and extension nestled between Newinton Green, Clissold Park and a short walk away to the popular Stoke Newington Church Street.
As is becoming a bit of a theme for us, we’ve been appointed to breathe new life into a historic home which no longer fulfils the needs of a young family. The project goes beyond just adding an extension and a lick of paint as it involves stripping the structure back to bare bones to address structural, thermal and condensation issues to
ensure the home is fit for purpose in the 21st century for years to come.
Architecturally, strong influences have been adopted from Scandinavian design through the use of timber throughout the house and intricate detailing of full height pocket doors, shadow gaps and bespoke joinery is used to create a stunning contemporary interior.
A robust material palette of oak, concrete and Carrara marble is used throughout the house for a consistent and familiar look.
The project is expected to break ground in Spring 2024 and finished by the end of the year.
Date appointed — August 2023
